Search the literature
Open the Papers view and search by title, author, keyword, or DOI. Results show the metadata you need to judge relevance — authors, venue, year, and citation count — so you can decide what is worth reading before you open anything.
A resilient search chain
A single provider can throttle or go down, so Writano never depends on one source. It queries several scholarly indexes in order, returning the first successful result:

From a result to your work
Any result can be saved to your Reference Library in a click, and from there cited in your paper. That keeps the path from “found it” to “cited it” short and inside one tool.
Tip: Searching by DOI is the most precise way to pull in a specific paper, and it carries the cleanest metadata into your library.
