Writano has four plans — Free, Pro, Pro+, and Team — differing in limits (projects, storage, collaboration, version-history retention) and features. The docs deliberately don’t list prices or exact limits, so they can never be out of date: the Billing page in the app always shows the current plans, prices, and your own usage.
What the billing page shows
- Your current plan, and since when you’ve had it
- Validity: “Valid until … — renews automatically” for subscriptions, or “Valid indefinitely” for granted plans (if your plan was granted — during a beta, for example — it says Granted rather than pretending to be a subscription)
- Your usage against the plan’s limits, including storage
Upgrading
Upgrade from the Billing page with a secure card checkout. When you run into a plan limit in the app, the prompt takes you to the same place — no support ticket, no sales call for individual plans.
The Team plan
Team is billed per seat: the owner buys a number of seats and fills them by invitation, and seat changes prorate immediately. How seats work day-to-day — invitations holding seats, what a seat grants — is covered in Teams & seats.
Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically on the date shown. If you cancel, nothing is clawed back: your plan stays valid until the end of what you’ve paid for, and the billing page shows that date. If your access came from a grant rather than a purchase, a cancelled subscription falls back to the grant — you don’t lose what you were given.
