Figures extracted from an imported paper now carry their color and style definitions with them, so each one previews and compiles on its own.

TikZ comes to Figure Studio
New **TikZ / PGFPlots** code mode: write tikzpicture code, press Run, and see it compiled by the real LaTeX compiler — using your project's own colors, styles, and macros.
Importing a paper can split its inline TikZ figures into separate editable files (each replaced by an `\input`), so every figure becomes its own unit in Figure Studio.
Charts and pgfplots connect both ways: export a built chart as clean pgfplots source, or open a recognized pgfplots file straight into the Chart builder.
Editing an existing figure shows an **Update mode** badge naming the file a save will update — including figures that came in through an import, which now update in place instead of duplicating.
Figures used by your paper show a green **"in LaTeX"** badge in the sidebar and Figure Studio.
The editor sidebar's References, Figures, and Project Files sections are collapsible, and the project search now filters documents, references, figures, and files together.
A failed TikZ preview shows the actual LaTeX error first, not pages of compiler banner.
Emojis across the app were replaced with Writano's own icon set.

Smoother uploads
Every upload shows a real progress bar.

Teams & starter templates
Team plan with per-seat management: invite members from the Teams page, pending invitations hold their seat, and seat changes prorate immediately.
Five free starter templates — IEEE conference paper, REVTeX physics article, PhD thesis, academic CV, and arXiv preprint — each compiling out of the box.
The billing page shows when your plan started and when it is valid until.

Version history for the whole project
Versions capture the full project — every document plus the .bib, class files, and figures — so a restored draft compiles the way it did then.
Restore is safe: a "Before restore" snapshot is written first, and files added since are never deleted.
"Compare with current" opens a marked-up PDF showing exactly what changed between a version and now.
Figures built in Figure Studio reopen for editing as the chart, diagram, or script they were made from.

One storage quota
Documents, figures, and reference PDFs now share a single pooled storage quota — one number on the billing page, not two ledgers.

Safer sharing
A share invitation grants no access until it is accepted; the invitee sees a clear accept prompt instead.
When someone accepts your invite, you get a live notification and the project list updates in place.

Three ways to write
Write in Markdown with inline math and compile it to the same typeset PDF.
Rebuilt Visual editor: math and raw LaTeX held as clickable islands, and mode switching is lossless — your preamble, macros, and spacing survive the round trip.
Co-author presence is mode-aware: see whether someone is in Visual, LaTeX, or Markdown view.
